this sock and the scaft below are on the needles right now. the pattern is on the band for jitterbug yarn and I do not know the colorway it was in my stash and one sock was done so I am finishing them up.

This is my favorite item besides my stole that I knit in 2008.
I knit this for Olyviah, my granddaughter.she wears it alot and people always comment on it. I will make her another one some time this year.

This has been done for awhile but I just never got around to puting it up here.
I knit this during a very trying breast cancer scare I had.
Melonies Mom Georgina facilitated the mystery this year.

I had a wonderful time making it and it was my saving grace in the darkest of dark days.

Azya's Birthday and Christmas socks

Azya, my now 13 Year old! received some money for her Birthday in November, and bought this Panda cotton for me to make her a pair of socks.They finally did turn out pretty nice but,the yarn was a bear to work with.It split really bad and often on top of that, and I had to go through 3 patterns and sets of needles before I could get even close to guage!! I finally settled on 2.5 bamboo dlps. and the bamboo stitch pattern. here they are I gave them to he in her new purse on Christmas morning.

8:26 am,Indianapolis,Indiana we are on the way to the hospital..... Update and pictures in a bit! I can't believe she is coming on her due date.Mom got me up at 5:55 this am.well she did not come until 1:54 on monday the 22nd they sent us home on sunday morning as mom was just losing her plug and was only dialated to 2,so monday she gets up and says mom I am all wet, so back to the hospital we go and this time we got an admission ticket to the greatest show on earth!! labor moved along very slowly at 6am she was only at 2 1/2 and at noon she was at 3 so they started the pitocin drip gave 10 mg of nubane and labor progressed rather quickly! she entered the world at 1:54pm weighing in at 7.5 lbs and was 19 inches long.She was screaming her head off !! and she is as cute as a button! here is:

I joined the ms2 last year and tried and tried to finish the stole.I finally gave up and just practiced lace knitting off and on this year.I decided when it started this year I would try again.up until today I have been about a half a clue behind.Today I am caught up and am finally just waiting on a clue so here are some pictures.

here we have a boo boo and have to tink back 3 rows,I dropped a yo and could not capture it no matter how hard I tried .I fnally did get to it.

OMG I got totally spoiled.Nancy was my pal and when I hear back from her to see if she has a blog I will post it.In the mean time I will leave you with these pictures to drool over !! I need to go to bed as it is 9:00 pm, but I am going to look through my books and will add to this post tomorrow.I also have a camera full of pictures I need to put up,so will try to get that done in the next few days.
Here is the bag, and it is perfect.I wanted and needed a bag that I could put a book patterns and needles etc. in and thats what I got and I love the pattern and the size and the colors, and the pin is very pretty.

Here is the contents!! WOW so much stuff is in here.
the yarn is tofutsies and I love it.I have been wanting some but just have not gotten any,but if I had it would have been this colorway,this will be made into socks for me I need to find a pattern!! LOL there are fiddlesticks needles I have never used these and have been wanting these as well,and there is the sheep tape measure again something I have been wanting but havent bought.there are candles a thimble reeses and a carmel and nut claw that is all mine.a bookmark and 3 new books again some I have been wanting,the summer IK mag ,200knitted blocks and the yarn harlots cast off book.a cute bookmark and a very pretty angel,2 pot holders that I love and a set of the cutest needle protector points they look like socks.Whew.Nancy I love everything thank you so much.
and I will leave a few more for you to see.oh I forgot she also added a smaller bag that will be perfect for a book and a pair of socks.!!

Azya an I had our selves a ball this morning and early afternoon.We tried a few different ways to see which we liked the best.I think the orange and green turned out the best, and what we did with that was soaked the yarn in the microwave for 2 minutes and then I just put one end in one glass and the other end in another glass. and they semed to take the color the best.The suppose to be red white and blue is not quite red LOL.Azya did the pink and green which is really pretty and also the varigated,you cant really see the colors on here but they are very pretty in person. The orange purple and green on the end is really pretty as well. I would love to hang them outside but the little neighbor boy is not getting my yarn!!so they will be on the back porch until they dry!

These socks are for a friend of mine named Trina.She is a Broadripple high school graduate,and also a graduate of Purdue Univ. A few years ago I crocheted her an afghan in yellow and black (purdue colors).Every since I have been making socks she keeps saying I want a pair, so I gt my hands on some lornas laces in the bumble bee colorway and set about making her a pair in the broadripple pattern I found on line.Then I got the second sock syndrome and the other skein of yarn and the one finished sock have been in the closed with other unmated socks!!LOL, her birthday is next thursday so I got them out and finished them so here they are. I loved th yarn and the patern very easy to remember.I used 3.5 bamboos and started the second on on thursday and finished it today. Azya is modeling them for us.

New books and Jazmyns blanket

I got these books a few weeks ago at a book fair at my work,

I got all 3 for $14.and some change.They have some great patterns in them .My Oldest Daughters girlfriend (dont ask LOL ) was having a baby girl, due June 10Th. So since they have bought enough pink stuff to make said child look like a bottle of pepto bismal I decided to make her this in the yellow.

I started it on may 12Th the day before mothers day here is the beginning of it.

and last night the 21st,at about 10pm I finished it gave it a nice warm bath and laid it out to block on my dining room table. and said well Jazmyn you can come now your blanket is finished.

now said oldest daughter is incarcerated until June 10Th again dont ask LMAO but I did the only think I could do, and told Jazmyns mom Jimmie, that if she went into labor before Brandy my daughter got out of jail to call me and I would come and be with her when the time came.Of course if you have read this far you already know what happened at 9 am today after dropping Mayson off at school I went to use my phone and had missed a call, yep she was in labor .so it is a 2 1/2 hour drive, so with the 12 year old home with a soar throat with the 18 year old who is also pregnant and due October 21ST(again dont ask ROFLMAO)the story just gets better and better!I called my aunt and took sick child to her, and off me and the 18year old go.half way there they call and say they have admitted her and that she is dialated to 2.I was like oh good now I can stop driving 85 miles an hour down 65 north.when I get there she has dialated to 3 and thngs are moving along contractions and such.A friend had taken her to the hospital and had been sitting with her until I could get there, states she is going home to get cleaned up and will be back. The 18 year old wants to go along so off they go.About that time they start that great helper a pitocin drip.30 minutes into that she is moaning and another 30 minutes the midwife is back and in scrubs!! saying lets have a baby!! and at 1:52 pm here came Jazmyn Taylor Lee Bush.I cut her cord,welcomed her to the world, and told her happy birthday.
Let me prsent to you Miss Jazmyn Taylor Lee Bush,born at 1:52 pm 5.75 pounds and 19 inches long.God where is that pink yarn I had LOL I have to make her something pink now.Both mom and babe were resting when I left.

Well Eric told me Michaels had it on sale 4/$5.00 so I stopped and got some on my way home!! 2 potpourri and 2 in the violet colorway!! and you can find his blog as well on the left.

these were just a basic knit I got the pattern here http://www.craftown.com/knit/patterns1.htm I used Austermann and probebly won't use it again. I thought with the aloe vera in it it would be really soft but it wasnt, it wasnt scratchy or anything but life is just to short and there are so many soft yarns out there I do have another skein of this so may use it but that will be it.I used 2.75 bamboo and was a little unhappy about how the toe turned but all in all I like them.I think that I like the flecks in this yarn the best and the wide stripes. and she loves them. she picked out the yarn at one of our favorite LYS well the not to local YS

Azya my 12 year old can draw anything.She loves anything artsy,we have what is called Magnet schools here where kids with the grades and talent coupled with refferals can apply to schools geared towards their talent.At any rate she had to draw a still life of the basic shapes and turn in her portfolio.We applied back in Nov or Dec and got the letter on Friday she is tickled pink and so am I.She was accepted into the Performing Arts-Visual Arts Magnet.

My 8 year old

these are just a basic sock pattern,The yarn is Koigu on size 2 needles! I did put a purl on every needle as there were 13 stitches so I knit 6, purled 1, and then knit the other 6 on each needle. I am finishing up the gusset on the first sock. And hope to get that one finished up today and start the second on as well.

Finally !! A place of our own

Just believe me when I tell you the last 3 months have seemed like 3 years but here we are finally its a 3 bedroom double with a bath and a half,dining room kitchen living room it needs some work done to it but this is something I like to do so I will try to update as I do it I just today got the puter up and going .We got snow on top of snow here the girls have been out of school for 2 days and I have been off work for 3 days getting everything together the w/d stove and fridge are in. The beds are here as well as a couch and chair. we had stuff at 2 friends my aunts and storage and then for a few days all the above plus the new place as well.LMAO there are several things I really like about the place.

Good Morning,today I am going to post about WIP for this month.There is reading Northern Lights,The baby blanket for Tara, a girl at work. I also need to make a hat and booties to go with it.The shower is on the 23rd so need to get on it.The blanket is almost halfway done so I may get most of it done over the weekend.It is just a big version of the washrag pattern but it really is turning out pretty.I need blue ribbon to weave into the enging so may go get that this weekend.There is the Forest Path stole KAL that starts today!!and there is also the Entrelac scaft KAL that goes with the Northern lights book.also there are my mitts which I will get on the needles hopefully before the end of the day.Sometime this month I need to get the supplies for the International Tote Exchange.I don't think I will get it started this month though.I am helping Azya find a pattern for her pals bag one that we can both live with LOL IE. one she can do and I don't tear out her or my hair in the proces!She is a pretty good knitter so I think it will just be a matter of finding one that is pretty basic as the yarn she has picked will make the bag awesome!SO lets recap this.

Azya,is my 12 year old who knits. Well she has been wanting to join a swap so when the international tote swap came up I asked if it would be ok if she joined.They said it would be. So not to be out done by her mother this is the yarn she picked for her pals bag and the button is so pretty of course I am not the best picture taker but I think you can pretty much see it here. The green and purple are cascade and the metallic is trend setters yarn Aura in colorway19 and it is to die for. Now we are going to get her a pattern she has her needles and bag ready to get started.

Yep,Thats what the Forest Path Stole will be made of.Like Debi, I was unsure of the colorway I had chosen for my stole.I saw some laceweight I liked the other day I should have bought it. LOL, at any rate at the not so LYS that I dearly love!! I found a few more colors that I liked but there wasnt enough in any one color in stock for the stole. dye lots became the topic.I ended with the ROSE BUD as there was enough.I got it home wound as you can see!!

It took almost an hour to wind 3 cakes of this . we need not revisit the merino incident (see below).I casted on using the Knitted cast on.This stuff is like a dream it is so soft it has fibers coming out and I cant even describe it . This is the nicest yarn I have ever worked with.I was not crazy about the color in the store but once they started winding it I was like under its spell, it is like a pink cloud to look at, and a pillow to touch. LOL at any rate I started the seed stitch and saw where my cast on stitches were uneven so only knitted about 20 stitches and also I had forgot to Sl the first stitch.So I went to the frog pond with it.Pulling to fast caused a you know what right? LOL It came undone pretty easy But I think I will have to be very careful with the stitches as it would be a bear to have frog a bunch of it. I am glad I did it and am going to see if I can get a better tension cast on done tomorrow has any body else decided how they are going to cast on ? it really is a pretty color and it might be nice to find a forest in a rose bud!!

Update:
I am getting ready to go to the frog pond again with the stole LOL 142 st. instead of 141 I was puting st. markers every 10 st. when I noticed it. I was on row 5 and I am not sure these nickle plated needles are the best. they are very slippery I may go get some bamboo of course all I have are 3.5 and I need 3.25 LOL another reason to go to the yarn store.

ok bamboo straights are in my possesion, they didnt have any circs in stock so will cast on again to see what these are like.At the rate I am going it may be march 1st before I get started !!
Update; Why didnt someone say Linda, that is not the seed stitch!! LOL looking at the picture, and saw this reread instructions and have started over.....wheres that little emotion guy with his little eyes rolling around in his head!

This picture is way dark. I will try and adjust it tomorrow but at any rate the yarn and needles are here. just waiting on the pattern so I can swatch. Actually I think there is a swatch pattern on the site. I am on my way over there to check it out!!I think I will like this, the only thing I worry about is if I will have enough light colored garments to wear to show this pattern.I am excited to start this project.

I guess I got so excited by the yarn that I forgot that the woman at the shop was going to wind it for me, so I took it upon myself to do it!! big mistake, Huge!! it is all wrapped in a tidy little ball now but god it took me off and on 3 days to get it undone without cutting it apart can we say a swift and ball winder are on the wishlist!!

Well I have joined a KAL and am very excited about it. My favorite is the mitten cookie, when I was on my shopping spree with the girls after xmas we were at barnes and noble and I went to 4 bucks (Starbucks) as Seinfeld calls it. and saw this mitten cookie and could'nt leave without it!! Well I have started 2 of them. The bag is for my pals kit. and a pair of socks out of the Austermann 03. I love the feel of this yarn, and the way it glides on the needles.I think I liked the color better on the skein than I do knitted up, so they may or may not be for me. LOL They are pretty though, just not my colors. Our systems have been down at work for 2 days now so I worked on the bag yesterday and the sock today, I am at the heel. I would like to get both of these finished early this month so that I can finish a UFO. I havent decided which one yet but lord knows I have plenty to choose from. Does any body else have more that 10 UFOs in different stages of developement laying around?? LOL have a great day

Here is a list of things I need to start and finish.

1.A few years ago I crocheted (sp) a friend (Trina) of mine, who is a Purdue U. grad and also a grad of Broad Ripple High School. A yellow and black afghan in a ripple pattern. Every since I started making socks she has asked, me when am I going to get some socks? Well I found some Lorna's Laces in bumdle bee (yellow and black) about 6 months ago and actually have one sock done in the broad ripple sock pattern, but need to finish them.

2. My 8 year old daughter is always asking when I am going to make her some socks, so I guess this is her year as well.

3.There is the Mystery stole, that I started and never finished so I am going to restart that soon and that would be for me

4. There are the socks that go with the mystery stole that are for me as well.

5. My grandson Brandon asked me over christmas when he was getting his socks,I have the yarn for these just need to make them.

6. My 12 year old daughter Azya has the second pair of socks I ever made and they are a bit under the weather so she could use a pair.

7.My secret scarf Pal send me some Opal in a purple and yellow colorway that I love so will try to make me some more socks from that.

8.I have a few sweater patterns I would like to make but that is down the road.

9.there is the issue of the three new skeins I just bought and am just dying to make socks out of.

10.of course there is all the stash sock yarn that I have that I need to use !!

I had stopped at 10 because that was all I could remember. There are a few more, I have 2 babys to knit for. Coworkers who are both having boys, one wants a blanket and the other wants a blanket, hat and booties!! LOL 2 others are getting married and I am thinking of making them afghans!!and I need to lear how to make a nicer blog I just found this site http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutorials/jennifer/blog-templates.html that looks vey helpful for those of us that are blog challenged!

My trip to the not so LYS

I took Friday off from work to be able to spend some time with my 2 youngest daughters.We had planned a shopping spree, as we all had gift cards and I needed to go to my not so LYS I love that Place !! You can buy this bag

for $15.00 and then every time you take it back with you, you receive a 10% discount on your purchase. I had never bought one because I always spend all my money on yarn. Not that I didn't this time eigher. At any rate, yesterday when I was getting my pals yarn for her mitt kit the young lady says after I had added to the pile,3 skeins of yarn that I could not leave behind, you know she says, that bag will almost pay for itself with the discount!! LMAO so you see I have the bag. At any rate it will be good for me to be able to tote the bag I am going to start on as soon as the socks are finished!!! so here is what I got. first up is the Yarn for her bag, I have a pattern in mind, Patons clasic wool Merino,that I got at michaels in red and white she said she liked red!!

then there is the yarn for her to make her mitts with. Since I did not and still do not, know a thing about roving LOL, the nice girls at the LYS helped me get her 3 oz. of this, and the red is Nature Spun, she mentioned something about thrummed mitts so I hope she will like this. I ordered half of her needles at knit picks this AM. I will have to go to another LYS to get the others as Knit Picks dosn't have that size and will add some other goodies to her kit.

then there was the Opal that is fabulous in browns and oranges I just loved it.I cant seem to find the color name or # on the label

This yarn is new to me, it is called Austermann Step it is a german yarn and again I cannot find the color but the label does say Aloe Vera and Jojoba ol it is in different shades of greens grays touches of pinks it is very pretty and will most likely be the first thing on the needles in 2007 for a pair of socks for myself.This was my favorite buy

And last but not least, I believe the young lady said this was a new yarn, was this beauty called, Celestial Merino Dream, By Lucy Neatby, color:Blue Vesuvlus, and I love it!!the picture does not do it justice !! it has blues and greens, purples, oranges,and maroons just wonderful colors

These socks are for my Cousin Alberts daughter, Alexis.She saw a pair I made my aunt and said she would like a pair. Now mind you this was in June that she said she liked them!! They were suppose to be done by christmas. I got so busy I did not get them done. She did not know she was getting them so it was that much better LOL. I plan on finishing them tomorrow. They were made with Lorna's Laces shepard sock yarn, dye lot:8369, color: Zons Pine. I used #3 bamboo dpl. needles on them and the pattern is (Little Shell).I got it off the web somewhere, lord only knows were!! they were a fun knit and alot of people have made positive comments on them I probebly will make them again.

It started at 5:15, when I got up at my aunts house, made some coffee chatted with her, she left at 6:15 am for work, I got the kids up at 6:00 so they were all stumbling around the house saying things like mom do you know where the socks are and I cant find any jeans and Azya my 11 year old saying she cant go out side because her head hurts now keep in mind there are 5 of them so we finally get ourselves together enough to get out the door at 7 am we drive to tech high school there we find that because we are staying with someone we have to have something with their address on it, I’m like ok, I got a letter from a lady with a check for some socks I am going to make so back to my aunts we go now they had a key made for me but it doesn’t work very well so this all takes time, back to tech we go 12 block away now the lady tells me this wont work I need a bill or lease in my name or I must go to the ed center for a residential verification form, now you know the ed center is like 2 blocks from our building here so we spend another 40 min telling this lady about our trouble now she says Nope this wont work we have to notarize this I need your aunt here, now remember she is at work so pleading my case, I finally we get this paper in hand. now it is 9 am and the 3 little ones , had no breakfast, are late for school so we stopped at the speedway and got them some donuts and to their school another 10 or 12 blocks away, talked to all the teachers about them all being walkers now. Now we are going back to tech office then registration then finance office where I write a check for badges then to counselors 2 of them, then to get badges then to get books then to take them back home because it is now 11:30 and they get out of school at 2:30 and by now I am to tired to argue all this before noon on a Monday morning I cant wait till tomorrow!!!! thanks for stopping by

Moving Fear and Knitting

I decided since this was the frist day of November, I would start being a better blogger.First on the moving, we are moving out of an apartment that we have lived in for 7 years. My 4 children my self and my grandson who is 10, My daughter Skylar who is a senior and 17, My son Logan who is 15 and a freshman, my soon to be 12 year old 11/16 Azya, and my just turned 8 year old Mayson. This is not a move of choice we live in public housing and it is not safe here any longer, so we are puting things in storage and will be staying between 2 houses my 17 and 12 will be at my aunts my 10 gyear old grandson my son and my 8 year old and myself will be staying with a friend. they only live 2 blocks from one another so it will not be to awful.Things probebly won't change much before the 1st of the year,I have a decent job but have only been there 3 months so have nothing saved to get us a house right now. WHich brings us to the fear I will have to get another job part time to get us in a position to get our own place. Then I won't see them very often, I guess my real fear is that I keep asking myself can I really do this?? And on to knitting not much of that going on right now I do have a pair of socks going in opal 17 colorway I will post a picture soon. I joined scout and bevs mitt swap I have been in the last 2 they had and really liked them so am going to do this on as well I have never knit mittens before but would love to.Well thats about it for today I need sleep.Thanks for stopping by!

I had fun with this scarf, it is made in a simple drop stitch pattern but I liked the way it turned out.I used baby alpaca in black and opal colorway 17 and a brown shimmer I hope she likes it, I made it a little long so she could wrap it!!

I am making the basketweave socks and have learned alot from this pair of socks, this heel flap has the eye of partridge or staggered stitch

mabey because I used #9 needles instead of the #11 the pattern suggested LOL but it is a cute little bag and everything fits inside so thats good. The bag measures 7x9 inches, her goodies include 3 blends of millstone coffee. Breakfast blend, vanilla nut cream and swiss chocolate almond. 2 skeins of knitpicks parade, the magic loop booklet and circular needles #2, and last but not least, 2 Ghirardelli dark chocolate candy bars. I had alot of fun with this swap and hope she likes everything.

LOL I almost forgot the pattern I chose to send her the falling leaves as it is done in the magic loop pattern.(thanks Michelle)

at Indiana Beach on the fourth of July.3 kids, 15,11 and 7 asleep in the back seat while I am driving home at midnight,Priceless.We had such a nice time.The kids and I have been having such a rough way to go lately, with 2 of my oldest know it all daughters. I decided that before I started my new job on monday that we should get away and have some fun.We rode everything we wanted, ate everything in sight, of course this won't be good for my weigh in on saturday but what the hell I will be good next week!! Played games and watched the fireworkes. It was a surprise trip for the kids and I am so glad we did it. 8:04 am. and they are still sleeping this as well is priceless LOL

I joined a Knit Along

This is for a mystery stole, where you get a clue revealed every friday for 6 weeks.You can eighter knit both halves at the same time or do one half and then do the other. I have never done this before so it ought to be interesting, The first clue will come friday. I have my yarn and needles on their way so am anxious to try this. I have never worked with lace yarn, so this will be a new experience for me. I picked shadow, grape jelly from knitpicks, purple for the project spectrum for the month of July, for the pattern, that I dont know yet, and will be working it on #3 circulars.
Well after a few false starts,a few trips to the frog pond and changing needles to a smaller size so I would'nt lose the pattern when my stole was blocked here is the progress

4. the first 50 rows

5. the progress so far

I love working the pattern it is worked in one piece starting in the middle and working both sides.I am going to try to pick up the other side tonight before I get to far on it and to see if I can do it. This as well is new to me so hope I can do it without going to the frog fond again, I have learned alot by working this pattern Melanie is excellent at giving directions and the pattern is a very easy read.

I joined a knitting group that I found online, because of school I have not been able to attend. But I did go last night and had a great time, most of them were knitting a felted bag that they had decided on a few weeks ago, one lady was making these tiny mittens that were adorable, another was making socks, one a scarf, one a sweater for her granddaughter and another was making table mats that were very nice. I of course was working on my sock dilemma,the second one is almost as long as the first one now, so will see how far I get until I will have to unravel the first to be able to finish them any rate I had a great time last night, the meet was at panera bread on 86th and allisonville road.Oh and the neatest thing was that one of the lady's is in the ksks so we chatted about what we were making our pals, lots of books and magazines were there, I got to see the mason Dixon book and some others, experience of the knitters varied from to beginner to pretty darn good!!

same lornas laces yarn so I guess she will have a pair of socks with one that has vertical stripes and one with swirls LOL. This is the last sock that needed a mate so I will be working on the dibs on ribs pattern next, I have it started the right front is done and the left front is on the needles. next will be the insert I dunno bout that LOL
Update, I took the yarn and the socks to my LYS and asked the girls if they had ever seen this happen with lornas laces and they all said no,but one of them did say that mabey I had started the first sock from the inside of the skein, and that was what was doing it, as the first sock appeared to be swirling at the foot.I thought oh yeah mabey thats it, so came home to rip out the second sock,then decided to just put it on stitch holders and start at the other end, but it is swirling as well so to get them to match I am going to work down to the heel on both socks with the second skein so they will match and take out the first sock and finish them, at least they will both match then. woo hoo problem solved

These are my daughter Azya's socks all finished finally, they were just a basic pattern and I used lornas laces yarn, again the picture is not the best.

Also placed a order with knitpicks.com this am for yarns, a book and a set of needles most of it was for my secret pals project but I did get 2 skeins for socks for the girls.I can't wait for it to get here so I can get started.

Are you a new sock knitter? How long have you been knitting socks? yes I am a sock knitter,I am new to knitting socks but I love to make them I have finished 3 pair and have 2 others that need mates finished.
Do you prefer solid or multicolored yarn? I got addicted to multicolored yarn for socks but I would love to make some solid color ones
What fibers do you prefer in sock yarn?
Where do you usually knit socks? work,car, meetings,everywhere
How do you usually carry/store small projects? in a ziplock baggie so I can see where everything is.
What are your favorite sock knitting patterns? I have one blueberry waffle sock done and I really liked the pattern so I would say that is my favorite right now
What are your favorite sock knitting techniques? I don't have any right now
What new techniques would you like to try? the toe up sock but the directions are like mud. w
Do you prefer circulars or dpns for sock knitting? dpns are all I have worked with I have entertained the idea of the 2 socks at once as I seem to have a problem getting to the second sock LOL
What are some of your favorite yarns? I love lornas lacessock yarn and am fond of regia thats really all I have tried I do have some yarn coming from knitpicks.com so I will see how I like that.
What yarn do you totally covet? my noro silk garden that I bought for a sweater that I am making

Do you have pets? What are their species/names/ages? we have a "hermid" crab named gary that my 7 year old daughter Mayson won on the last day of school in a raffle, it had been the class pet for a few months pior to that, she just can't get hermit out of her mouth.

Knit Sock Kit Swap ok, I don't know how to make this a button link, instead of just the link. I am new at this so if anyone can help me out here I would sure apreciate it thanks.
