Gary

Have I ever introduced Gary to you guys? well here he is.He is a "Hermid Crab" as my 8 year old Daughter Mayson calls him.She won him when she was in the first grade she is now in the second grade at any rate Gary lives in a container in her room and can be found on the floor crawling around at times!!





here he is again, do you know how hard it is to get a picture of a hermit crab ?? LOL

And she is in !!

Azya my 12 year old can draw anything.She loves anything artsy,we have what is called Magnet schools here where kids with the grades and talent coupled with refferals can apply to schools geared towards their talent.At any rate she had to draw a still life of the basic shapes and turn in her portfolio.We applied back in Nov or Dec and got the letter on Friday she is tickled pink and so am I.She was accepted into the Performing Arts-Visual Arts Magnet.

Oh yeah there is the scarf!!

That I knit for the February project for the WhoDuKnit club.I loved making this scarf and I love the way it turned out I have gotten alot of compliments on it .This was my first try at Entralec and blocking. I was really happy with the whole process.
Here it is on a trash bag blocked on my um brand new couch LOL

Mayon my 8 year old is a dora fan these are from knit picks.will make her a small bag out of these for all the little Doras she has in her room.

Found these at walmart yesterday

The cut flowers are now on the dining room table.The greenery is on the buffet, sunning themselves in the windows.

these are just a basic sock pattern,The yarn is Koigu on size 2 needles! I did put a purl on every needle as there were 13 stitches so I knit 6, purled 1, and then knit the other 6 on each needle. I am finishing up the gusset on the first sock. And hope to get that one finished up today and start the second on as well.

this is my pals bag for the ITE111
My pal likes all colors so tried to fill that bill. I liked the way the bag turned out but it is a flat bag so don't know how functional it will be.Mabye she can use it for stash. I have'nt gotten any goodies for it yet may do that today.

And for Azya

my 12 year old.This is Claudias hand painted in "eat your veggies"colorway .She has wanted socks out of this since I bought it awhile back so will cast on for these when Maysons are done.
